Weathertight Doors are designed and manufactured by LMS to provide weather tight protection for environments requiring marine access solutions.
Overview:
The LMS range of weather tight doors offer a simple and effective means of providing weather protection to any exposed entrance or compartment of a vessel of offshore platform. They are lighter in weight though suitably stiffened and can be supplied using a variety of materials including steel, stainless and aluminium. Generally the doors are provided with clip handles which can be operated from either side of the door.
Due to the extensive number of options available, Lifting & Marine Services Ltd will produce the doors to your specific requirements. As with all our ship access equipment, our weather tight doors are produced to all the latest industry standards.
Whilst not designed to offer a first line flood defence (as in watertight doors), weather tight doors provide effective protection in exposed areas.
